I won $40 last night we only had a 10 dollar buy in.

I hadn't played in a couple months but me and some friends just organized a little league type thing.

Good thing I'm good at poker or else I would lose a lot of money cuz I have an addictive personality and I fucking love gambling. I really wish there was a way we could bet for real money on sporting events with eachother.

A good strategy with people who are good but not great or arent good is to bluff your first couple hands if you don't have much, lose a little bit then they pity you and start to think you're a heavy bluffer. If you have good hands to start off with then bet but not too much, keeping people in the pot is crucial.

After the first few hands it becomes easy to read the other players.. All that facial expression "reading" shit is bullshit, you just have to read their betting habits and play off of that. If you're playing hold em (that's all I really play everything else is gay) then you want to ramp up the bets after the 4th card and the river.
